(it's hard to explain how it will look like with on it's writing angle, let me know if you want to see a sample photo) Writing with Apple pencil on this is quite a stable and safe experience, because the bottom case will offer quite a grip. The backlit looks really cool, but its quite impractical, its better if you just turn on the light in the room.įunction keys are a bonus for this keyboard, its ergonomically better. The angle of the keyboard is too steep and harder to use compare to the smart keyboard folio. The key travel is amazing, its perfect for anyone.

The weight is fuxking heavy, however, it won't be a problem if you aren't constantly on the go. The distance between keys are closer than normal keyboard, may take a some time to get used to. The button are pretty accessible and exposed without protection. (I won't discuss much on the budget, since it varies between people.) The price is 199€ at the moments and it is quite unlikely to find any cheaper option other than that. Writing with Apple pencil on this case is quite a weird experience, because you will have to lay it completely flat on the table, and it doesnt offer much friction(Which isn't safe). The cover will lose its glossy texture at the spot where you grab the ipad overtime. The protection is horrible, I often times feel concerned for my ipad in my backpack. The key travel is perfectly fine for people who aren't a heavy typer. The distance between the keys are wider, which makes its feel closer to your day to day normal laptop size keyboard. I own both smart keyboard and logitech slim folio (11 inch, 2018) and these are my personal opinions:) If another iOS device or compatible iPad is available for testing, please test the keyboard on the other device, if the keyboard is working with your other Apple device, then there is a problem with the original \device you are attempting to connect.P.S.

Soft Reset the iPad (Press and hold the power button and the home button simultaneously until the iPad reboots and an Apple logo appears on screen, then release the two buttons and test the keyboard once fully booted up) Ensure Bluetooth is turned on on the iPad. Hi Kozmo, please take a moment to follow the troubleshooting steps below to try to solve the issue: If you cannot reset the keyboard this is a major flaw. Is there anyway to reset the keyboard? If not, I think I will have to give up on these new generation ipad keyboard folios - $140, poor Logitech customer support and very limited instructions and troubleshooting. I never hit 'forget this device' on my iPad before doing an erase and reset, but why should I have to? This is too easy a mistake for anyone to make and afterwards it renders your keyboard useless. It's like once it's been paired to one iPad it can never be paired to another iPad again (even the same one reset). I've now had this experience with multiple Ipads, a new Slim Folio just purchased and the Canvas iPad Air. If you reset or erase the content of the ipad and go to reconnect again, the keyboard stops working - you get constant connection unsuccessful messages despite the keyboard's power and bluetooth lights all working. Very unimpressed by logitech keyboard covers.
